How do I get started?
An intro flight is the first step. (A 30-45 minute flight during
which you get to take control and get a feel for the plane.) After
that you can continue with regular lessons
When does the next course start?
You can begin your flight training at anytime. We hold periodic ground
schools for both Private and Commercial through out the year. You do
not need your ground school before you commence with your flight training.
How long does it take to get your license?
That depends entirely on your schedule. Working on it full time the
private license can be obtained in as little as 2 months and the
commercial in a year. Flying is completely weather dependent and
can easily prolong your license especially in the winter months.
How do I pay?
We accept VISA, Master Card, Amex, debit and cheques.
How old do I have to be?
You can begin your flight training at any age. To fly solo you must
be 14 years of age and to obtain your private license you must be 17.
Why fly at Pacific Sky?
We pride ourselves in producing professional Pilots from both our Private
and Commercial programs. Our instructors are also Corporate Pilots with
operational experience. They are teaching the students first hand of
what they learn flying commercially.
Why fly on the west coast?
Yes flying on the west coast can be frustrating at times due to the
weather but in the end it will make you a better pilot. You are
continuously dealing with changing weather patterns, strong winds and
mountainous terrain.

How long have you been in business?
Since 1972. Until 2 years ago we were known at Juan Air. Our name
was changed in 2007, but flight training is still held to the high standard
it always has been.
What are your hours of operation?
Dispatch is open 9:00hrs to 17:00hrs Monday to Friday. Our instructors
fly at all hours. We are also closed during statutory holidays.
