The result is a practical understanding in such areas as Air Traffic Control procedures and operating in multi-zone airspace (including Vancouver and Seattle Terminal Control Areas) and exposure to high traffic areas.
• Victoria has excellent training weather, with approximately 95% VFR or 'training' days.

• This geographical area allows for superior cross-country training, night training and mountain flying.

GETTING STARTED

Once you have decided on a course of instruction, you can book lessons at your convenience. Groundschool is not required before you start flying. The first thing you should do is come in to see our facilities and talk with an instructor. Then, take an introductory flight, and experience the thrill of flight! This flight is formal instruction and does apply towards training requirements for your licence or permit.
