Transport Canada Requirements
- 50 hours cross country pilot-in-command flight time.
- 40 hours of instrument time of which not more than
20 hours may be instrument ground time.
- Completion of Transport Canada approved flight test
for multi-engine Instrument rating.
- Completion of Transport Canada instrument written test.
- Valid Medical for appropriate type of licence held.

- In-aircraft training occurs in a Pa31-350 Piper Navajo Chiefain.
- Our simulator is a Frasca 142, incorporating a Garmin 430 GPS to facilitate transition to the Garmin 530 GPS in the aircraft.
- Flight training time listed above is the average
time needed to complete which varies upon individual needs.
- Student / Instructor ground briefing time will be in
addition to the above costs which varies upon
individual needs.
- Transport Canada written examination, licensing and
flight tests fees are applicable.
- Flight training course fees are tax deductible.
- HST is applicable to Multi Engine Instrument Rating costs.
