Personal information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, a home or other physical address, and an e-mail address or other contact information, whether at work or at home, and date of birth.  Personal information collected by the Pacific Sky Aviation Inc. includes, but may not be limited to, information such as an individual's name, address, flight experience information, pilot ratings, and any contact information such as phone numbers or e-mail addresses.  This information is used to conduct regular business with our customers, in the form of newsletters, invoices, statements of account, and periodic advice of functions, meetings, and membership status. We also gather credit card information for payment of purchases from the Club. Additional personally identifiable information that is collected can include proof of aircraft ownership, insurance clearance certificates, medical clearance certificates, flight plans or flight logs, and pilot certifications.

Accountability
The Pacific Sky Aviation Inc. is responsible for your personal information under its control. We have appointed a Privacy Officer who is accountable for the Pacific Sky Aviation Inc.’s compliance to this Privacy Policy.  Our staff is trained in the policies related to privacy.  We will not provide any personal information to anyone, without the consent of the individual, unless required for the purpose of operating the Club or otherwise required by law.

Consent
When you join as a member, or otherwise use our services or products as a customer, you are giving the Pacific Sky Aviation Inc. consent to obtain your personal information by providing it to us orally, or in writing.

All personal information held by the in the Club database is kept securely.  It is accessible only to Club staff and officers who have a reason to access it to do their jobs or otherwise conduct the official business of the Club.  We may respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process.  We also may choose to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.  We may collect and possibly share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required by law.
